Water Ballons and Car Wash

This week we had some fun with water! One night after supper we headed outside and enjoyed some water ballon fun! Lucas didn't quite understand the concept of not squeezing so hard and managed to break them as soon as we handed him one. JJ and Ben of course knew exactly what to do with them :) Even Mark and I had a fun water balloon toss!

Saturday morning I decided to get the boys suited up and ready to wash the car! They were a little impatient with me and my vacumming, but I finished up and the fun began! The boys worked really hard, even Lucas! At one point Lucas started washing the driveway too! We finished up the fun by getting the slip and slide out!

Trip to LaCrosse

We decided to head up to LaCrosse yesterday as a way to get out of the house. We had lunch at Grizzlies, where JJ attempted to eat a 1 pound hamburger! Then we went to the Children's Museum and played on all the exhibits! Lucas and Ben enjoyed the fire truck and JJ loved playing in the water tables! I HIGHLY recommend this museum. All the boys had a great time. Afterwards we checked out the tornado damage down by the hospital. And finally we ended up at Grandma's house! It was a busy day!

Fun at the Beach

Our summer has been pretty low key so far. But we have been having fun and I have been enjoying all the time I am getting with the boys. Today we took off for Devil's Lake for the morning! The boys had a blast playing in the water and digging in the sand. Keep checking back for updates and pics...I am going to try and do better this summer!

Way Behind on Posting Again!

I am so behind again on posting on our blog!!! I just looked at my last post and realized how much Lucas has grown since this summer! Below are a few pics from Lucas's first birthday! He loved eating birthday cake!!! I will try to get some pics posted soon of his birthday party!!
